Hike for a Healthy Heart

Did you know that the Heart Foundation is the proud charity partner for Coastrek starting in 2023? 

Coastrek is a life-changing team trekking adventure centred around fun, fitness, friends - just like Heart Foundation Walking!  However Coastrek comes with a goal to raise funds for the Heart Foundation, so that we can continue to support life-saving research and deliver programs to improve the heart health and quality of life for all Australians.

Coastrek is all about inspiring and empowering women to hike together for the benefit of their own health, for their communities and for the greater good.  

Many of us know or love someone who has been impacted by heart disease. Together, the Heart Foundation and Coastrek are embarking on an adventure to improve the lives of everyday Australians for the better.

Hikes range across 30 km, 45 km or even 60 km, along five of Australia’s most spectacular coastlines.

We’ll keep you posted on the events happening in your state. Opportunities will be available to sign up a team of four, or to volunteer on the day.

We believe in the power of unity, as we are strongest when we work together. Together we can help end the heartache caused by heart disease.
