Name of Competition: Step up and become a walk organiser

By participating in this promotion, you agree to a complete release of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from any claims. Participation in this promotion is subject to the Steps Together Details of Participation. 

Any entrant found to be creating multiple social media accounts (e.g. multiple Twitter accounts) to submit more entries will be disqualified. 

Details of Participation 

Information on how to enter forms part of these Details of Participation and entry is deemed as acceptance of them. 

No purchase is necessary to enter the contest or redeem prizes  

Contest commences on Monday 19 May 2025 and entries close at 11.59pm on Friday 30 June 2025 

Entries not received by that time & date or not completed in accordance with the Details of Participation will not be eligible to win. 

Prize 

One of twenty AUD $50 (fifty dollar) VISA gift cards. 

Total prize pool is valued at AUD $1000 (one thousand dollars).  

If any prize is unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for the prize, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value. 

All prize values are correct at the time of printing. 

Prize/s are not transferable or redeemable for cash unless otherwise indicated. 

Who can enter 

Contest is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or more who complete their registration to a become a volunteer Walk Organiser via the website (https://walking.heartfoundation.org.au/start-group) during the competition period. 

Employees of the promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.  

How to enter 

Participants who register as a volunteer walk organiser during the competition period and set up a new walking group with a minimum of three walkers by 30 September 2025 will be entered automatically. 

Only one entry per person is permitted 

Prize Draw/s 

The odds of winning are based on the actual number of entries received. 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the promoter nor any of their agencies are responsible or liable for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or ineligible entries. 

The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

All prizes are guaranteed to be given away by random drawing from all methods of entry of this contest. 

All prize draws will take place at 155 Hutt Street Adelaide, South Australia on Monday 6 October 2025. 

If a prize is not claimed within one month of the draw date, a redraw for that prize will be conducted on 5 November 2025.   

Notification 

Winners will be notified by phone or email where possible. Prize winners will be published on heartfoundationwalking.org.au) on 6 October 2025 and winners of any redraws will be published on (heartfoundationwalking.org.au) on 5 November 2025. The prize winners list can be obtained by visiting (heartfoundationwalking.org.au). You consent to your name being published on (heartfoundationwalking.org.au) if you win a prize.
